Norm’s just uploaded Washing Up Frank on his MySpace :yes2: . Really cool track :yahoo: .
He didn’t do it personally, of course. He’s still struggling with email, bless him.

Oh, and there was never a plan for norman to play an aftershow set at the C2 party. That’s a fact.
Just one comment, the visuals are not pre-planned as such, as they play off the laptop depending on what track Norm choose – the order and in fact the choice of tracks is NOT decided beforehand. Yes, on a night like that Norm is more likely to play a track that has a video attached to it BUT there is a fall back that if he plays a track that doesn’t have video assigned to it, then some random visuals kick in to keep the display going….
yeah, we kind of enjoyed putting that one together….
Simon, I was standing not too far from you under the arches for most of the gig. Didn’t want to bother you, and come across as a complete random, lol.
Really??
Oh, you should of said Hello, I was quite drunk quite early (I can’t do daytime drinking!) as you might of guessed by the dancing you no doubt saw that I was doing with my missus, haha, so I would have probably been very friendly!!!
The public enemy v white stripes tune blew the place away
yeah, we kind of enjoyed putting that one together….
certainly isnt a new one, is naughty of them if they suggested it was…

… and he is still working on some tracks with David Byrne:

Talking about David Byrne. Has anybody ever heard the Imelda Marcos musical ‘Here lies love’? I am rather curious about what it sounds like.
It’s hard to describe. There’s some really great songs, but some of it is in a very “musical” (i.e. stage) style. We’ve been working on this with David for getting on 3 years now? So long. It’ll all be done some time soonish, we’re told…
Simon.
I would join in here, Kidda is top. I mean, yes I know him, and had a play around with a few tracks on the album (you may or may not get to here that at some point) but it’s all really good stuff…
Simon.
Well i edited the shining posts ’cause the link contained some full copyrighted album .. don’t want any problem with laws..

What FBS songs, do you think are underrated or underappreciated?
I personally, think songs like “Don’t Forget Your Teeth”, “Badder Badder Schwing” (With Freddy Fresh), “Michael Jackson”, “Where You’re At”, and “How Could They Hear Us?” are all in this catergory IMO.
What do you think of them?
Funny you should mention all those ones, cos they’re basically the B side stuff (apart from Badder – which I havent listened to for years and can’t remember if it’s any good or not) and it’s a funny thing, but you’re in a slightly different mood when doing B side stuff. In a way you don’t worry so much about things – in a good way – and we’ve always had a good bit of fun with them. I would agree with you that many of the ones you’ve listed, along with “Next To Nothing” (of which I’m still very proud of) have a certain quality about them….

Full length mix? As opposed to what? A radio edit?
Simon
Haha, it’s not worth finding or ripping. I seem to remember it being slightly terrible – then again it was a lifetime ago since we did it, so maybe I’d be pleasantly surprised…
Simon
I was gonna say, I didn’t think this actually came out commercially? I certainly only have a promo of it, if anyone does have it on a proper release I’d like to know so I can track one down (yes, I do try and have a copy of everything ever)
Simon
Is this crappy version that someone tried to remake cos they couldnt get hold of the proper version we did? ‘Cos I remembering hearing it and not being that impressed, Hey Ho
