Rory is right,
But the whole MP3 is ‘It’s Yours’ by Suburban State.
D
Rotton Criminals wasn’t actually Fatboy Slim, it’s a Garage Tune with Fatboy Slim written on the label to sell more copies, total white label, bought out around the time ‘Cowboy’ came out on the Blade II soundtrack…
I have MP3 somewhere as I sold the vinyl a long time ago.

Always Read The Label?
Lincoln Memorial?
How Can You Hear Us?
The River Card?
Why do people keep knocking out rubbish remixes of the same old songs?
D
Camber Sands?
D
I’ve never heard him play the Del Piero track either…
D
Sorry Daniel,
Had it,
Sold it,
I listed it here on the board loads of times though, if only you were quicker eh?

Yep

I’m glad I’m not the only one who wasn’t blown away by the mix, I have had it on loop in the background at work though and it does grow on you…It still isn’t as…progressive as other Fatboy mixes.
The Essential Millennium mix for instance, starts with some obscure tunes and little-known classics in the making, goes through the massive big beat tunes of the era and ends with a full on hands-in-the-air ‘Born Slippy’ moment…
Similarily with the Beach gigs, they both build to full on drunken hysteria by the end and then play out with the obligatory Fatboy Singalong…
This doesn’t…
Maybe he’s evolving as a DJ, moving away from the party animal and into the more serious Dance Music Pioneer that he used to be, back in the day when the Boutique opened…who know more about ‘decent’ dance music than Norm eh?
I swear if he tries to turn into Zabiella or those bloody Swedish House Mafioso I’ll shoot myself though!
:suicide:
lol
Hey guys,
Yeah I got my copy on Monday, it’s pretty good, mainly because of the tunes but there’s not really much atmosphere to it to be honest, the mixes are either short cuts or Eric Morrillo-esque filter mixes, I think norman should stop trying to sound like Herve, Sinden, Switch, Loveys et al and do what he does best…
Massive tunes, old skool classics, Acid House anthem, massive tune, random selection, Fatboy Bootleg and then fireworks… works every time.
Having said all that I’m in no way disappointed with the CD, it’s well produced, tune selection is spot on…for a club gig, not a beach party I hasten to add… and the artwork is brilliant…
But…
(here comes my stupidly anal gripe section)
…The tracklisting on the back is completely wrong…
Uncredited remixes, spelling mistakes, wrong artist/title sequences…who proofs this stuff @ Southern Fried??
Come on boys…you can do better!
7/10 (because it’s Norman)

It’s hardly a business,
I believe in supporting the artists we talk about all the time, by keeping vinyl alive and not bastardising music into low-rate MP3 files. Admittedly Vinyl costs more but there’s so much more thrill in having a physical 12″ vinyl copy of a tune most people have never even heard of…
Maybe I’m getting old…
D
Hello matey,
Selling, always on the grind me!
