Everybody plays electro-house…
I want oldschool, dance-player Norm backI kinda agree with you guys, although part of Norms charm is he can easily wear diffrent dj hats… I wholeheartedly myself indeed too, prefer party-norm, especially evidenced by his Electric Proms set… that tore my f**kin ears off
However I also appreciate as a dj he’d need to test and push himself from time to time. This set is ok, but not really up my street as I’m firmly in the

Hi, :read:
I’ve had a squint around the web and can’t find no official release/remixes, the tune you’re after is probably a white label, you tried hitting up the radio stations that may have played it for any info??
bb :scare: :scare:
That Elvis track makes me feel like eating Burgers!!

SPF another great bit of spliced lovliness from you!
going on the ol’ iPod that one, straddles current and the retro like a cheeky east european motorcycle daredevil on the ‘wall of death’……erm…

Rory,
You’re bang on the money there my friend.
I recently brought both the Howlin’ Records comp and Surrounded By Funk
cds of Amazon both at a really reasonable price each and can wholeheartedly also recomend both….. as for The Last True Family Man…. buy it right now!!!!! It is a superb mix of funky big beats and electronic lovliness  in my humble opinion, it’s defo in the same record box as Fatboys YCALWB and The Wiseguys Executive Suite albums :yes2:
.. but then again, I do call myself ‘big beat’ on here don’t i so, i guess Im biased!!!!! :P
Ahmed,
nice post – you ever heard the mix compilation Brit Hop & Amyl House?
I’m sure it’d be right up your street my friend!bb
simonth,
sounds like you’re having musical flashbacks on here!!!
so, what’s your current thoughts or tastes in todays muiscal climate :?:
What with the Nu Rave, Old Rave or Somewhere in-Between Rave  movement, and U-U-U-U-U-Utah Saints! dusting off their glow sticks too – do you think Big Beat would or even could make a comeback, i know currently Kids In Tracksuits (check their great web page intro) and Kidda remind me of what i liked back then, or was it just something special, a one-off to be treasured?
To me it’s more the utter celebration of music – and I think these days people are much more open to the broader spectrum of music styles, as opposed to the musical tribes I myself was in growing up.
Anyhoo, sorry to ramble… was just thinkin’ (well typing) aloud!
bb
simonth,
:D the old flavas can still taste good :D
pleased to meetcha on here!
bb
FND,
I see, that’s why I was getting a little confused…
thank you my friend
