10. Groove Allegiance – Ramp It Up (Hi Jack remix)
Glad Norman discovered a HiJack tune. They both should make a track together, HiJack is a genius in jackin’ fidget house.
You did it, Fatboy! :yes2:
I agree with Rory.
I would say that YCALWB was a showcase of his past work and the styles of electronic music of the time. Love Island does remind me of his Pizzaman days, Right Here, Right Now has a house-like feel to it, Soul Surfing and Gangster Trippin’ has the old-school hip-hop style (especially Trippin’), and Kalifornia & Acid 8000 are odes to the acid genre.
It’s sad to see that big beat seems to have evaporated now. Thankfully, Rory and Freddy Fresh are bringing it back!
Saw the video on YouTube, very good song. Nice work, Rory.
Great to hear things went smoothly. Congrats!

Even though it has been said before, but North West Three with it’s fantastic John Martyn sample is severely underrated
I like North West Three. It has a great dream-like tone that’s perfect. It’s also a great song to hear when you’re going to sleep.

‘River Card’ from Joker
‘Knuf Ot Knup’ from Punk to Funk
‘Love Island (Rare Manumission Remix)’ from Halfway Between the Gutter and the Guardian
[divshare:3oklzwp9]7190675-cde[/divshare:3oklzwp9]River Card – Really like the music in this one, but the potty-mouthed samples kinda brings it down. An instrumental would have been nice.
Knuf Ot Knup – Interesting song, though Punk to Funk is better.
I discovered that Love Island mix, and it’s really good.
Nice remix.
But Riva Starr has a remix of Praise You that sounds really good! Check it here:

I’m glad the song finally got a single EP. Will check it out soon.
BTW, thanks for posting the sample, Francis.
Camber Sands?
D
Never was a fan of that one. It was disappointing IMO.Very good party tune! :yahoo:
BTW, could you post “Funky Times”, “Always Read The Label Rebundle” “I Get Deep” and “London’s Gangster”? I heard them on your website, they’re great.
Yeah she really has a great voice. I love her Rockferry album.
:good: Thanks for the post Ahmed! No problem. I was hooked to this song ever since I discovered it.
Enjoy your holiday season everyone! May it be fun, peaceful, and safe :hello:
