My 2 penny’s worth on the most underated and least hated

      North West Three
      You’re Not From Brighton
      Old Pair Of Jeans
      Drop The Hate
      Michael Jackson

Also think Mighty Dub Katz Just A Groove and Just Another Groove are undeservedly overshadowed by Magic Carpet Ride. Freakpower’s Rush warrants a mention and seeing it is but the third hour of the day…The Whole Church Should Get Drunk by The Feelgood Factor definitley rests in my top 5 by Norm of all time.

What FBS songs, do you think are underrated or underappreciated?

I personally, think songs like “Don’t Forget Your Teeth”, “Badder Badder Schwing” (With Freddy Fresh), “Michael Jackson”, “Where You’re At”, and “How Could They Hear Us?” are all in this catergory IMO.

What do you think of them?

Funny you should mention all those ones, cos they’re basically the B side stuff (apart from Badder – which I havent listened to for years and can’t remember if it’s any good or not) and it’s a funny thing, but you’re in a slightly different mood when doing B side stuff. In a way you don’t worry so much about things – in a good way – and we’ve always had a good bit of fun with them. I would agree with you that many of the ones you’ve listed, along with “Next To Nothing” (of which I’m still very proud of) have a certain quality about them….

Agree on your choices. Old Pair of Jeans is a great song with a good message, same for Drop the Hate, and North West Three is a really good chillout song.

As for Freakpower, Rush is a good song, but I think No Way and Can You Feel It? are underrated, moreso No Way. Awesome song.

You’re right about MDK. Just a Groove should have been his main single instead of MCR, which is good, but not great.

The Whole Church Should Get Drunk is great, so is the dub.

Never was a fan of that one. It was disappointing IMO.

Rotton Criminals wasn’t actually Fatboy Slim, it’s a Garage Tune with Fatboy Slim written on the label to sell more copies, total white label, bought out around the time ‘Cowboy’ came out on the Blade II soundtrack…

I have MP3 somewhere as I sold the vinyl a long time ago.

R.C. may not be Fatboy, but IMO it’s good.

River Card – Really like the music in this one, but the potty-mouthed samples kinda brings it down. An instrumental would have been nice.

Knuf Ot Knup – Interesting song, though Punk to Funk is better.

I discovered that Love Island mix, and it’s really good.

Definitely agree. Should’ve been on the album.
