I’ve just read this on the tour dates page…
“Non updated since december 2011, NCI will probably disappear in december 2012.”
This is some of the saddest news ever. I know I don’t come here all too often but I have some great memories of the time I used to spend on here (when I had spare time that is).
If it wasn’t for this site I would not have half of the Norman Cook related music files and records that I still own and listen to regularly. I would probably never have heard “Ashes The Rain And I” or The Five Man Electrical Band or Sissy Walk etc etc etc etc etc.
My musical knowledge and collection is so much healthier and it’s thanbks to Francis and all those who have contributed over the years.
Congratulations Francis on what has been the most popular fansite on the web for all things Norman. Im sure that all the hours you put into making it so popular have not gone unnoticed.

Very sad news indeed but a huge thank you goes out to FND, I’m glad to have been a part of such a fantastic project and friendly community.
Much like SPF I have some great memories, I think the highlight was getting various signed bits and shipping them over to France by way of a thank you, and I hope you treasure them for many more years Francois…

Very surprised and touched by mails / private messages i received this last days about my decision to close a part of normancook.info… that’s why i decided to made a come back on blogging even if the site will be buggy during few months again.. :)
