Big Beat maestro, Fatboy Slim, takes to the 6 Mix decks for two hours of musical influences.
From first rising to fame in the 1980s as the bassist for The Housemartins, to spearheading the big beat revolution in the 1990s to playing at the closing ceremony the the 2012 Olympics – Fatboy Slim is one of the most well known names in British dance music.
In this programme he takes over the 6 Music airwaves to play the music which inspired him to get behind the decks in the first place; with music from King Tubby, Grandmaster Flash, Public Enemy and a few Fatboy Slim mash ups for good measure.
