      Hi All,

I’m after some advice (and hopefully a solution) about lifting samples from DVDs, Films etc.

I’ve recently been buying up all the DJ Yoda productions I can get my hands on and am amazed at the constant and creative use of everyday samples from tv, film and even radio and I’m baffled as to how he gets them…gone are the days of Acappella LP’s loaded with 10 minute tracks of vocal stabs and samples!

      Anyone got any advice?

I’ve tried googling for simple (free) programmes such as the Youtube MP3 sampler I have (for lifting audio from Youtube videos) but have had no luck…

      Over to you guys…

        Hey Darko

Are we talking about recording audio or video here?

          Hey,

Audio, just the audio track to convert/use MP3s for live sets etc.

I just use software like Audacity and record the computer sound output
