woka24 September 2008 at 23h48 #13421It doesn’t have anything on the listing on either of these radio stations about a live broadcast. Do you have anymore details, times etc…?
26 September 2008 at 13h35 #13424Latest Live Broadcast News
Southern FM are playing it ‘as live’ from 10pm so that’s about 4 hour delay. Expect the swearing to be edited out!
NME have just sent me an e-mail saying they have pulled out.
Any one have more news or ideas where it may be live either TV or Radio.27 September 2008 at 19h31 #13429[mp3:t51mf7fv]http://www.normancook.info/board/southernfmbb4advert.mp3[/mp3:t51mf7fv]

Well..a classic 2008 fbs tracklist (unfortunately)
28 September 2008 at 2h24 #13435Just went through the set. Very excellent quality and some good tunes too but unfortinatley, it seemed too identical to his last few sets, but just in a slightly different order. Still, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves at the gig :gig: . Hopefully soon, he will buy some new tunes for his sets (not just Electro House remakes please!).

28 September 2008 at 9h43 #13438Francois / Rory –
Many thanks for the good work here on hosting / tracklisting!
Very much appreciated :hello:As for the set list, it’s not looking too bad, had a quick listen to player whilst DL is running…
…as with Rory, I’m not cock-a-hoop out Electro House remixes either and if I’m totally honest my selfish ears only want to hear BigBeat/Electric Proms sets… but a quick glance over looks well promising, what with Satisfaction Skank (my prized piece of wax that i have), representing Kidda, House Of Pain remix, the quirkiness of the Willy Wonka stuff, him rocking out with the Cream remix and the P.E vs White Stripes bootie (got this too on 7″), Fatboy Slim – Right Here Right Now (Redanka Mix) is still awesome,Hardfloors Acperience (TUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE) and the Eartha Kitt track – not bad really eh Fat Team? and at the end of the day, Fatboy Slims all about the party and I bet it sounded fuckin brilliant on the Brighton Seafront!
A very J.E.A.L.O.U.S bb :this:
28 September 2008 at 9h44 #13439ps chaps, did that Arcade Fire No Cars Go remix ever surface as a mp3 or white vinyl????
bb
28 September 2008 at 11h28 #13440I’m just disapointed (as many fans i suppose) that he didn’t played more new tunes or did a surprise with playing a new BPA track.. Any way , his set reflect very well the ’08 saison. In add, I had a terrific flashback when i heard Gangster Trippin VS Dirty Harry, i was return at brixton in 2005 :grandpa:

Video by lottietice28 September 2008 at 12h03 #13441Just forgot! He plays the “rumble in Brighon tonight!” song too!
PS: I agree with everyone that it was a shame he didn’t play any new tunes, it would have been so awesome to hear some new BPA material!
28 September 2008 at 12h38 #13442Nice one Francis once again man you come up trumps :)
